The french duo, Velvet Sunset have never stopped writing about love, but now they bring the love of grunge and alternative rock into a body of work describing love in summer.
Composed of Eléonore on vocals and Max on guitar and bass, the duo have always been within the realms of indie and rock, but this grunge-inspired four-track project is an experiment for the band, an experiment that links back to their inspirations of Led Zepplin, The Breeders, The Vines, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Velvet Underground and more.
The new EP is an ode to their love of grunge with tracks such as Moon Fever providing the slow, melodic vocals and Remember Me showing off the incorporation of numerous instrumentals.
The EP is driven by love and positive vibes that help bring the listener into a dream state and taken back to simpler times.
