FM Premiere: MURLOE Is The Sound Of ‘Wonky’ Pop With Unconventional Love Song

“I don’t like to define what something is or put a label on it, I just do what feels right. I’d like to think all my people who feel the same will put this track on in their kitchen and vibe like nobody’s watching”

An unconventional love song, murloe’s newest release captures her authentic and realistic take of what it’s like to be close to somebody in today’s world, both physically and emotionally. Waste Away The Day With Me comes as a tonic to what she describes as an “obsessive I’m in love with you please don’t leave me” approach to love songs and explores the sentiment of just enjoying being around somebody, not needing to do anything in particular but seeing what happens.

Up and coming artist murloe is carving out her own space within a unique genre being described as ‘wonky’ pop. A singer and songwriter, she tackles the nuances of life and relationships through her music. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists and sounds, the likes of Jordan Rakei, Dua Lipa and Disclosure, murloe is creating a fresh new sound that is ready for the new world.

Talking about the track she reveals, “I don’t like to define what something is or put a label on it, I just do what feels right. I’d like to think all my people who feel the same will put this track on in their kitchen and vibe like nobody’s watching”
