New York-based singer-songwriter, drummer, and eclectic producer Malick Koly is releasing his first solo EP. This EP features his own original songs, where he takes on the lead vocals. It’s going to be a game-changer!
The super talented son of incredible artists Awa Sangho and Souleymane Koly, who have accomplished so much, is dropping his EP Feel Bad Fest on August 18th. It features some incredible artists like Vernon Reid and jazz legend Ron Carter.
Eaux Rouge by Malick Koly is an awesome track full of raw and emotional rock, blues and indie vibes. It’s super muddy, grungey, and has just the perfect amount of angsty vibes.
Steve Jordan, who’s played drums for legends like the Rolling Stones, SNL and Late Night with David Letterman bands, the John Mayer Trio, Keith Richards’ X-Pensive Winos, and many others, was in charge of executive producing it.
When talking about their collaboration, executive producer Steve Jordan had this to say: “Malick gave me a call and asked me if I would participate, and there it was. It’s got a lot of potential, it’s interesting & different. Refreshing, and that’s why I am a part of this.”
