Multi-platinum selling producer and songwriter Dan Priddy is revealing his debut single Dopamine tomorrow and we have the exclusive premiere here on FM Magazine.
Having spent the past few years writing and producing hits for the likes of Rag’n’Bone Man, Louis Tomlinson, James Arthur and Bastille, Dan is finally stepping out of the shadows with his own provocative and infectious sound.
It’s completely self-written, produced, mixed and mastered, and is a true reflection of the London-based artist. Speaking of the feel-good chemical found in our brains that gives us feelings of happiness and euphoria, Dan explores the turning point in life where you meet someone that you know is going to change the course of your future.
“It’s about the rush they give you when you’re around them and it’s set in the moment of when you’re heart is pounding and you’re about to tell them how you feel.” Explains Dan, “It’s very special to me because it’s a true situation I was in and writing the song was almost like a kind of therapy. It gives me an emotion when I listen to it which is really my goal when creating music. If other people have gone through similar emotions I had, hopefully this could be a soundtrack to that moment for them as well.”
