Swedish artist, Flyckt, continues to display an ability to create honest melancholy emotions disguised in blissful pop production. With apparent ease, Flyckt manages to blend interesting melodies, euphoric highs and humorous ironies all within four tracks.

The building blocks of Flyckt’s artistic endeavours were laid down from a young age. His father being a grammy award winning mix engineer some of Flyckt’s earliest memories came from spending time at his fathers studio and he learnt to push himself creatively through his life.

From start to finish we see him confidently strut through his diverse abilities. “Love is Overrated” is a captivating build up with a melodic climax whereas “Cage” reveals the lengths Flyckt can push his voice.

In the video’s for the EP’s singles “One Day” and “Wake Up” Flyckt boasts his sense of humor. Making fun of his own monotonous situation which, unfortunately, we can all relate to by showing himself flick bits of paper at cans, getting pizza delivered and drinking wine.
