Reading-rockers White Sunday’s debut single Nothing Without The Music has been described as – ‘Influenced in equal measure by Madchester, Britpop and good old fashioned Rock n Roll.’
It’s been a busy year for the band, they have a new line-up and have been working on their debut album which is due for release in late 2010.
Musically impressive, Nothing Without the Music has echoes of everyone from Weller to Mott The Hoople and Oasis in it’s loose-limbed grooves, not to mention epic riffs and vocals to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
White Sunday are a perfect example of the Mod aesthetic of self-improvement and their confident, cocksure belief in themselves remains as strong today as it did the day they formed the band.
White Sunday are currently on a mini-tour to promote Nothing Without the Music.
