Jaya is back with a new single called Outta Control and is ready to push the boundaries of what people expect from her pop image. The remix to this track is featured in a brand new video, which sees Jaya joined by some of the most revered MC’s to come out of the UK Grime scene.

Ruff Squad as lead by Tinchy Stryder; have Fuda Guy and Rapid representing on the track whilst all three members of grime crew Marvell spit a well thought out and intertwined verse.

The addition of the two groups came about to show another side to Jaya’s passion for music and it’s different genres.

“On this single I really wanted to see how far we could push the boundaries. People don’t realize I love and support the UK rap scene. On my first single “DJ Do It Again” we had a remix with N-Dubz and Tinie Tempah and this time I reached out to Ruff Squad and Marvell as I had been listening to a lot of their music at the time. As you can see from the video they not only killed the track but brought a lot of vibes and jokes to the studio too.”

Outta Control was co-written by Jaya with UK producer Anthony Marshall who currently resides in the US and is known for successfully working with artists such as Craig David, Steven Marley, K-Ci & JoJo, Britney Spears and JLS to name a few.

The main mix of Outta Control features Jojo Simmons, the son of Hip Hop royalty Rev Run (Run DMC) nephew of Def Jam co-founder and Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons and star of MTV reality television series Runs House.

Outta Control also features the critically acclaimed rapper Wretch 32 who has recently charted at number 5 in the Official National Charts with his debut hit single ‘Traktor‘, It was shortlisted for the ‘MTV’s Brand New Artist For 2011′ award, as well as the BBC Sound of 2011 award.

As well as the main version of Outta Control and the UBC Rap Remix the single package sees mixes set to get the party started with high tempos and banging basslines.

They include the Dynamixx Dutch House Remix, the bass heavy True Tiger Dubstep Remix, RJ Productions Drum and Bass Remix, the Punjabi influenced Saif Remix featuring Mickey Singh and the Darren Martyn Funky House Mix.
