FAME PRESENTS: FOLKS

New Manchester based six piece FOLKS have released a free download of a track called ‘Avalanche’ and start their own headlining UK tour this week before they go on tour with Miles Kane in October and support Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at the Roundhouse in London in October. The band were formed when guitarist and writer Michael Beasley hooked up with vocalist Scott Anderson, and they relocated to the US to record what would end up being their debut album, to be released early 2012. ‘Avalanche’ is available for free now via facebook.com/wearefolks
