Musical duo The Luck have shared their latest single Vertigo taken from debut album Ready To Run . The newest single sees this sibling pair channel a sense of empowerment to create a track that encourages us to challenge ourselves and overcome our deepest, darkest of fears.
Riding high after the release of their first album Ready To Run, The Luck have gone from strength to strength ever since. From amassing over 560k views on streaming platform Twitch to appearing at a selection of UK festivals this summer. The Luck hope to continue on this trail of success with their latest single Vertigo.
Kickstarting with a pairing between a versatile guitar riff and punchy drum beat, it’s evident this track is destined to be an upbeat anthem full of positive messages. As Max’s vocals blend an infectious yet authoritative tone, Esmay’s attention-grabbing vocals are soon thrown into the mix to make this pairing of vocals have the power to prick up the ears of any listener. Lyrically focused, the song comes from a time where fears, doubts and uncertainty dominated the lives of the sibling group, with Max Luck opening up about the inspiration behind Vertigo saying “We went through a period where we were just… overwhelmed, we were trying to keep up. We had all these fears and doubts, we felt stuck, but we recognised the feelings, rationalised them and worked through it, channelling negativity into positive energy, to push forward.”
With the upcoming release of Vertigo’ in full swing, The Luck are set to support Wildwood Kin throughout their national tour later this year after their run of UK festivals ends. For this brother and sister pairing, it seems there plenty more successful ventures ahead.
