Los Angeles-based house music duo Epikker (Suniel Fox and Henry Strange) follows up the release of their Revolution Remixes EP with their new remix of Nobody Knows. Each producer adds their own ingenuity to the remix, giving it a fresh and singular sound. After being captivated by the original, the duo approached Canadian recording artist iskwē about doing a remix.

Adding an old school meets new school electro house feel, Epikker’s remix breathes new life into the song. Funky with plenty of deep groove, the beats starkly contrast from iskwē’s pop-based lyrics, which focus on crimes that surround indigenous women. Dynamic and empowering, Epikker’s Nobody Knows remix uplifts listeners, delivering hope for a brighter tomorrow.

iskwē had this to say in reference to the original, Nobody Knows was written from a sensation of chaos that I, along with many of my community members, were experiencing after losing yet another one of our young female community members. Missing and murdered indigenous women and girls are the epicenter of this song. We are people too, and our lives are important. This song was written to honor us, the ones who remain in the walking world and the ones who have departed back to the sky.”
