ELECTRIC HIGH’s Top 5 Influences Playlist

The Tronosonic Experience – The Crossing

Ein: This band combines the energy and intensity of rock with their great jazz-skills. Fantastic musicians sounding like Morphine (the band) on both acid and speed.

Grand Funk Railroad – The Railroad

Marius: Grand Funk Railroad is just one those great solid 70s bands. With great players and great songs and this is one of them. You can’t play rock music today and not acknowledge what the 70s rock scene produced. I could just as well choose Budgie, Blue Öyster Cult, Status Quo, Nazareth, The Stooges or Heavy Metal Kids. They should all be considered perfection of the rock genre!

Royal Blood – Trouble’s Coming

Olav: I love the way Royal Blood makes insanely catchy, dancefloor-friendly hard rock bangers, without sounding tacky. That’s a delicate craft! And I bloody love this tune.

Motorpsycho – Guillible’s Travails

Tossa: Motorpsycho’s Guillibles Travails is a massive, heavy masterpiece that builds into a huge riff in the end. The band is playful and creative, and lots of inspiration from 70’s heavy rock and prog can be heard.

Grouplove – Raspberry

PV: Indie Rock at its best! Love the Pixies-energy in this band. And especially in this tune!
