A whopping 24 bands are confirmed for the fundraising festival – a two-day ticket is priced at just £8 for admission to this impressive line-up.Bar owner Tina Calder said: “Since I took over Ma Nelson’s in September last year we have had a very active social awareness policy. We have run a number of big charity events and this is just another we have lined up to benefit some fantastic charities.
“When we announced we were going to have this event we were overwhelmed by the support of our staff and customers who volunteered to help out on the day and promoters and sound companies such as RTL & DFR as well as each and every one of the performers who are giving up their time on the day and helping to promote the gig within their fanbase.”
Under 18s are welcome come along and enjoy the daytime performances right up until 7.30pm if they accompanied by an adult.
Performances confirmed for Saturday 23 April are:
ST HELLFIRE, AUDIO ILLUSION, STORMCROWS, FREEFALL FREEWAY, EXITELLE, MIDNIGHT TRANSMISSION, STUART HIGGINS, THE HUBRIS, C64s, LAST INDEPENDENTS, KAT & TAPPERS, KATHARINE PHILIPPA

“There is a massive underground movement of talented bands and musicians that never get exposure in Northern Ireland and we are hoping that through events like these people will begin to discover the amazing entertainment on their doorsteps.
“As the economic climate continues to dishearten people and we all tighten our purse strings it’s great to know that for just £8 over two days you can catch 24 professional recording bands consisting of some of the most talented people I have met in a long time.”
