July 18th will see the launch of Dublins newest monthly house and techno night at Dublins coolest new venue Andrews lane theatre. Rubberband will take place once monthly on a Friday night and is to showcase some of the most respected names on the electronic music scene.
Heavyweight line ups of some of the worlds finest house and techno DJs and Producers is guaranteed to create the perfect club atmosphere in this very welcomed addition to Dublin’s late night hot spots.
This exciting new venue already plays host to an array of top Dublin promoters and as the roster of cool new club nights continues to grow, so does the venue’s reputation for its late night party antics.
With its simple no frills decor and straight to the point sound system Andrews Lane is a truly dare i say it – minimal space reminiscent of any warehouse party around the globe. With additional complimenting decor by talented Dublin street artist “Maser” who provides a visual feast on the interior walls plus large visual installations perfect for showcasing inspirational young VJs from around the country makes Andrews Lane a must see in more ways than one.
Rubberband kicks off July 18th with a pretty impressive line up of technos finest and will continue to showcase more of the most innovative acts over coming months. The launch sees a true techno pioneer JOHN SELWAY (smith&selway), plus a rising raw talent PERC (drumcode/kompakt) playing an exclusive Live set, come together with Dublin’s most talented Barry Redsetta on support duties. Its sure to be a right old techno stomp in a venue that really is the perfect setting for it!
The second party will take place August 15th and will see an Irish debut from Alexi Delano who will headline another cracking line up alongside Par Grindvik Live and Irish Born Sian who has recently signed to Dubfires Sci&Tec label. Pow thats gonna be good!
Doors open from 11pm and with a late theatre license we are happy to announce that music will continue later than any other venue in Dublin!!
Admission for the launch night is priced e20 or e18 before 12am or with a student card! Tickets are available at the door! Bargain in anyoneâ€™s books but do arrive early to avoid disappointment!
