Deer Tick & Caitlin Rose make their way to Belfast this Saturday 2nd October. The Rhode Island band, influenced by the likes of Tom Petty and Sammy Davis Jr, consider themselves a rock n roll band.
They already have three albums under their belt, with the latest release The Black Dirt Sessions released in June 2010 to critical acclaim.

Although writing their own material, the band very much enjoy performing covers at their shows as diverse as Nirvana to the Beatles to The Sex Pistols.

The band have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Neko Case, The Felice Brothers, Nas, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Jenny Lewis, J.D. Souther, Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings, Dead Confederate, A.A. and will be touring with such outstanding artists as Dr. Dog, Those Darlins, and Holy Sons this year.

Caitlin Rose released her highly anticipated debut album Own Side Now in August 2010. The Nashville born singer appeared amidst a whirlwind of praise at the start of the year with her stunning first offering, the critically acclaimed ‘Dead Flowers’ EP.
Hailed as a new artist to watch this year, Independent on Sunday judiciously deemed her “the most exciting act in Nashville right now”.

Deer Tick will be performing in Belfast’s Auntie Annies on Saturday 2nd October 2010. Tickets are priced £9 plus booking fee and are available from all Ticketmaster outlets including Katy Dalys and
