At their height, Deacon Blue was one of the most commercially successful British bands of the time, with 18 UK Top 40 hit singles and 5 Top 5 UK albums, 2 of which were No 1 albums. Deacon Blue first stormed the charts back in 1988 with the single, “Dignity.†Other hits include “Real Gone Kid†and “Chocolate Girlâ€. Last year’s “Singles†album hit the Top 20.
