Peruvian singer-songwriter and producer Daniela Lalita returns with Tiroteo, featuring Mura Masa. A slow-burn, ritual-led release that turns pain, collapse, and renewal into a cinematic electronic system.
Meaning “gunfire” in Spanish, Tiroteo moves through brooding rhythms, sensual low-end pressure, and atmospheric production. The track doesn’t resist suffering. It uses it as fuel. Pain becomes process, destruction becomes material, and rebirth sits at the centre of the record.

The black-and-white video, directed by Daniela and shot entirely in Peru with local collaborators, extends that world visually. Stark industrial spaces, solo choreography, movement from the back of a pickup truck, and a crowd gathered around fire turn the track into something elemental; part performance, part ritual.
Daniela shares:
Tiroteo is about finding empowerment by using the pain of loss and catastrophe as a dissolving element that allows oneself to die, regenerate, and be born again with the use of one’s own ammunition. I took inspiration from the way caterpillars liquefy inside their cocoon, turning into a nutrient-rich soup through digestive enzymes that break down their own tissue to rebuild into an entirely different insect.

Born in Lima, Daniela Lalita operates across sound, visual art, and couture. Since Trececerotres, she’s fused experimental electronics with folktronica and avant-pop into tightly built, high-concept worlds.

With Tiroteo, she opens a heavier new phase. Cinematic, ritualistic, and fully locked into transformation as both subject and structure.
