Having burst on the scene earlier this year with impressive singles Glistening and Game, Connor Angels has returned with his brand-new track, Cyberluv<3. The Delaware artist has already begun building his discography as a producer for other artists and is now set to take his career to the next level as an artist in his own right. And judging by the quality of Cyberluv<3, he’s going to have no problem making the transition from behind the scenes to frontman.
The track highlights Connor’s sophisticated production skills and gift for addictive hooks and alluring toplines and discusses the differences between real life and how life is often depicted through social media. Elaborating further, Connor says: “Cyberluv<3 is about how everything on social media is very synthetic. Things are not what they always appear. Very rarely do you see someone portray sadness, and never do you see individuals look their worst. It’s all a highlight showcase of a person’s life, and that’s okay, but we should remember that imperfection is necessary.”
“The song also suggests that I prefer real intimate love to cyber love. It’s easy to receive internet love when all you do is look your best and share your best moments. Sometimes I just wonder – if the world was blind, how many people would you impress?”
With such an impressive offering for just his third official release, it’s clear Connor Angels is an incredible talent with the potential to make some huge noise over the next year. And with more new music expected soon, he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Cyberluv<3 is out now to buy/stream on all platforms.
