Tuesday 9 December – Coldplay have just announced a concert at Dublin’s Phoenix Park on 14 September 2009 with a limited capacity of 40,000 This follows on from two sell out shows at The O2 this December 21 and 22. Fans will be delighted that Coldplay have announced the Phoenix Park concert as tickets for their shows at The O2 this month were sold out within minutes of going on sale in July, despite the extra show being added the extra tickets still did not satisfy demand. Tickets for Phoenix Park go on sale this Monday 15 December at 8am.
Coldplay sold out their date at Wembley Stadium on September 19th 2009 and due to exceptional demand, the band has announced that they will play an extra night at the venue on September 18th 2009.
