CHXRLOTTE Shines With New Track LULLABY

“I wanted the song to be as comforting as possible. What I find comforting is looking up at the sky and realising that in the grand scheme of things, none of the things I'm worried about are important, and everything is going to be okay”.

With her unique sonic style inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish and Twenty One Pilots, 22 year old singer-songwriter Chxrlotte emerged onto the music scene last year with her debut release Come With Me. Having already amassed over 850,000 streams on Spotify, Come With Me was inspired by the comedic fantasy series Good Omens, with the track gaining attention and acclaim after being shared by members of the show’s cast and crew. Now, she’s back with her second release of the year, the stunning new single – Lullaby

Appropriately naming the track, Lullaby sees Chxrlotte adding another string to her diverse and multifaceted artistry. Exploring a different side of her sound, Lullaby immerses us in a soft and gentle sonic world – a perfect soothing melody for the midnight hours. Filled with an enchanting, shimmering piano composition and subtly resonant synths, Chxrlotte’s vocals are at the forefront of the soundscape, glimmering peacefully against the stripped back instrumental.

“Having a lullaby to listen to when I go to sleep is something I’ve always wanted from my favourite artists”, Chxrlotte explains. “I wanted the song to be as comforting as possible. What I find comforting is looking up at the sky and realising that in the grand scheme of things, none of the things I’m worried about are important, and everything is going to be okay”.

Continuing to develop and hone her sound and style, Lullaby is the next step in Chxrlotte’s artistic journey. With the promise of more music to follow, she is certainly set to continue on her upward trajectory in 2021.
