Chiddy Bang have confirmed a date at The Academy, Dublin on 20 October 2010.
Having built an already strong fan-based with their MySpace mixtape ‘Swelly Express’, Chiddy Bang will release an eight track album, ‘The Preview’, on October 11 (October 12 US) before the release of their debut album ‘Swelly Life’ in early 2011
The group’s debut single, ‘Opposite Of Adults’, catapulted them to fame in both the US and UK with its innovative cross-genre sound rooted in hip hop.
The MGMT- sampling song became an internet sensation with over 6 million hits on YouTube and soon invitations to support Jay-Z, Snoop Doog and Kid Cudi on tour followed.
‘The Preview’ touches on the group’s experiences over the last year and with collaborations including Pharrell who co-produced new single ‘Good Life’ and Q-Tip on ‘Here We Go it’s safe to say it’s been a great year for Chiddy Bang!
