CHERRYADE DROP ‘THE CROWN’ JONAS LR REMIX | IT’S ABOUT GROWING UP IN A SMALL TOWN

CHERRYADEAfter sharing their skewed electro-bubblegum-pop statement ‘Fractured Fairytales’, London-based enigmatic duo Cherryad – long-time school friends Ella and Alex – return with some more of their darkly infectious offering, with this Jonas LR remix of their new tune ‘The Crown’.

“We wrote ‘The Crown’ about growing up in a small town – explain the duo – where nobody had any ambition, and if you did you were laughed at. We then ran away to London and realised everything is the same everywhere you go. People are always going to talk about you, and make a big deal out of nothing. This is the song that made us realise we don’t give a shit anymore”.

Cherryade are currently working with Dimitri Tikovoi (Charli XCX, MNEK), Lewis Gardiner (PRIDES, KLOE) and Ian Watt (GIRLI) on their forthcoming debut EP.
