Chase Matthews (multi-genre producer and songwriter), SILKIE (Manchester-based DJ and singer-songwrite), and Xerxes-K (musician, artist, and producer), are making waves in the alt-pop music scene with their new exciting new project called Chase the Feeling.
The first offering from the explosive transatlantic trio is a fresh electro pop anthem called Cherry Lips.
The indie synth-pop transatlantic trio have totally hopped on the remote working bandwagon and aced it! They used tech to swap music tracks and bring together some seriously awesome sounds, all while chilling in their own personal recording studios.
Spreading good vibes and having a great time is what Cherry Lips‘ is all about. The addictive synth-pop tune, is inspired by love, friendship, and just having a blast.
Despite being in different places due to the pandemic, Chase the Feeling still managed to come together and create something memorable! One member was chilling in West Sussex, another was up north in Manchester, and can you believe it, the last one was all the way over in sunny California.
Chase Matthews handled everything when it came to making the music – writing, performing, and producing. SILKIE brought her impressive lyricism and took the lead on vocals, showing off her incredible talent. And to top it all off, Xerxes-K absolutely killed it with some super cool backing vocals that brought the whole track together.
The trio listed a bunch of artists who have had a big impact on their music. They mentioned Great Good Fine OK, Fickle Friends, Glades, ELIO, Foxes, CXLOE, The Naked and Famous, Anna of the North, Florrie, and Joan.
Chase the Feeling is about to release their very first EP. Cherry Lips demonstrates the power of creativity and teamwork to transcend borders and create something truly amazing.
Watch out for some intense musical delight from Chase the Feeling.
