Rising South London star Charlie Brown is teaming up with PETA for a new anti-fur campaign in which the “On My Way” singer gazes into the camera above the words “Be Beautiful in Your Own Skin, and Let Animals Keep Theirs. Say NO to fur and fur trim.”
Brown says: “If I can use my voice to make a difference in the world. I will – so I’m proud to work with PETA to speak out against fur. We can have luxury and style, without wearing fur”.
Animals on fur factory farms spend their lives in cramped, wire-bottomed cages, surrounded by their own waste until they are strangled, electrocuted, beaten or even skinned alive.
Foxes, raccoons and other animals caught in the wild can languish for days in traps and will even chew through their own limbs in a desperate attempt to escape. In China, the world’s leading exporter of fur, fur from dogs and cats is often falsely labelled as fur from other animals before it is exported.
