catGRINZ is a Northern California artist who now lives in L.A. She began to engage in music at a young age, thanks to her parents who made her discover classic artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Nirvana and Frank Sinatra.
catGRINZ drops her brand new song Easily Erased, her singing is so captivating, and the production style perfectly enhances it – it’s really sweet and full of love.
catGRINZ explains: “Easily Erased is about being hurt by the people I loved and how those experiences made me scared to love again, but by cutting those people off, it lead me to a better place in my life.”
Easily Erased is the second single released from the new project called Escapism. This new track confirms the position of catGRINZ as an outstanding and innovative emerging artist to keep an eye on.

Once catGRINZ finished high school, she shifted to LA in order to pursue her dreams. Later on, she moved to SF for her degree at FIDM. After going through a tough breakup, she used songwriting and YouTube covers as a way to take her mind off it.
catGRINZ was having trouble locating a producer while still being open about her struggles, apprehensions and past broken relationships. After a while, she met a producer whose style matched her own and they worked together to create her debut single VICES.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Riley Urick, catGRINZ’s debut EP Highest In The Room is coming out in June and the new single gives us a hint of what it’s going to sound like.
If you’re into Kali Uchis or Billie Eilish then you need to hear this new artist’s songs.
