Carrie Baxter first appeared to us late August with her single “Something in The Water”, an exciting up-tempo single cut from the same jazz-inspired cloth as Tom Misch. Fast-forwarding two months and we have been delighted with an entire 8-track project with as many thrilling twists and turns as there are genres fused, with elements of jazz, R&B, soul and pop justifying their places on the EP.

Spearheading the release with single “Rose”, a track that quickly illuminates earlier comparisons of Carrie’s music to the likes of Erykah Badu with its nostalgic beat and laidback vocals.

Sharing the project with her fans and further, Carrie is currently embarking on her UK & IRL tour having just stopped at Peckham Audio in London and now Waterford, Ireland. If you can catch her on her next few stops, we recommend!
