Canada’s ABSOLUTELY FREE Release New Video And Album

By Frank Bell

From a myriad of influences that span 60s pop, 70s krautrock, 80s new wave, 90s IDM, 00s psych, Canada’s Absolutely Free have released their new album Aftertouch, 7 years after their debut record. Following that mantra of good things come to those that wait, the new record is an impressive mix of synth-rock psychedelia, and this new trippy video for opening track Epilogue is a great introduction to their sound.

Check it out:

The band says. “‘Epilogue (After Touch)’ conjures an existence, where a linear progression of time no longer seems applicable. With reference to cinematic narrative, the lyrics touch upon living in a contemporary culture that seems to be referential and symbolic of what’s already in the past.” – Intelligent stuff!
