Calum Best is busily training for his latest charity challenge when he takes part in the Virgin London Marathon on 17th April, 2011, to help raise funds for The Children’s Trust. The 30 year-old television personality will join the Trust’s 150 runners, who collectively hope to raise £150,000 for the charity, which provides specialist care to some of the UK’s most severely disabled children, and rehabilitation to children with an acquired brain injury.

This will be the second time that Calum has taken on a special challenge in support of The Children’s Trust. Last year he joined Gail Porter and other supporters of the Trust in a trek to Vietnam.

Calum said: “I am delighted to be taking part in the London Marathon this year in support of The Children’s Trust. Having met several of the children, I have seen at first hand their determination to take on every day challenges, regardless of their disabilities, to help them enjoy a better quality of life.”
