Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are extending the political force of their Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour beyond the stage with the release of Philadelphia Freedom Cut, a concert film documenting the tour’s 30 May finale in Philadelphia.

The first seven performances will stream free across YouTube, Vevo, Spotify, iTunes, Tidal and other platforms. Three further chronological segments will follow, completing the release of the full concert.

Filmed in its entirety, the production opens with Springsteen’s introductory remarks before moving through politically charged originals and carefully selected covers. The sequence includes Born in the U.S.A., Death to My Hometown, No Surrender, Darkness on the Edge of Town and Streets of Minneapolis, alongside Edwin Starr’s Motown classic War and The Clash’s Clampdown.

“I’m thrilled to be releasing our final show from the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour — recorded in the birthplace of American freedom, Philadelphia, USA,” said Springsteen. “On the tour, we rocked the house from one end of the country to the other and, while we were at it, we spoke up everywhere in defense of our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our sacred democracy — which are under attack by a lawless President and his regime. It’s all captured on our Philadelphia Freedom Cut — hope you enjoy it.”

The touring line-up featured E Street Band members Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt and Max Weinberg, joined by Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons, Charlie Giordano, The E Street Horns and Percussion and The E Street Choir. Tom Morello appeared as a special guest across all 20 dates.

The film is directed by Chris Hilson and Thom Zimny, with editing by Zimny and Sam Shapiro. Springsteen, Jon Landau, Zimny and Adrienne Gerard serve as producers. Jon Altschiller handled the sound mix, John Cooper recorded the performance, and Jeff Ravitz and Todd Ricci designed the lighting.

By dividing the concert into sequential releases and distributing it across music and video services, Philadelphia Freedom Cut operates as more than conventional tour documentation. It uses a coordinated digital rollout to preserve the show’s political narrative while carrying its message far beyond the venue. The film is released in memory of music journalist Dave Marsh.
