The Vals hail from Belfast,and set the scene alight with an array of fist in the air anthems,soon spreading the word to Ireland the U.K and parts of Europe with a list of Festivals and high profile gigs.Playing great venues in London, Dublin and Liverpool including the famous Cavern Club, The NI:Next – Generation Festival in The Brixton Windmill and also taking part in Switzerland’s Partytime Festival during a small tour in 2008.In 2006 the band co-headlined Feile an Phobail,Europe’s largest community festival,with Echo and the Bunnymen,where they gained a fan in lead singer Ian McCullough.
Also in 2008 they supported Ocean colour Scene during the Pure Acoustic tour,playing to a sell out crowd in Belfast. The band have also been lucky enough to have recorded some tracks in Windmill Lane studios in Dublin,famous for producing albums by the likes of U2 and The Rolling Stones and also Amberville studio’s recording an album in just a day!
Many of the bands tracks have received great response all around the world,with constant airplay on stations in the U.S such as Boston’s PW Radio on WMFO and also making the ’Heavy Grinder’ playlist on Manhattan’s Altrok f.m alongside the likes of Razorlight and Coldplay. The band are at the moment preparing new tracks for a future release with a new line-up and change in musical direction a lot will be happening with The Vals in 2008.

The Hellfire Club
Hellfire Club of Belfast was established in September of 2005 as an attempt to stitch old blues and folk together using laptop patches, amplifiers and electricity.
The bands dark electric blues and murder ballads have been played locally (Northern Ireland) on BBC Radio, and Nationally (UK) by Colin Murray on Radio 1. Their irradiated patchwork of nostalgia, superstition and gothic romance has also been acclaimed by the Irish Star where they were described as “… promising to become the biggest band in Ireland.”
Two EP releases have drawn comparisons with the Archie Bronson Outfit and Robert Johnston, and inspired reviews like ‘On this evidence the Devil really does have the best tunes’.In 2007 ATL TV commissioned The Hellfire Club to make a video for their song ‘Dead Mans Funk’. It was broadcast on the BBC in March that year.
Hellfire Club are currently recording their first album ‘Film Found in a Camera’ which will be released on Culture Deluxe records later this year.

Delirium Tremens
Delirium Tremens formed in late 2007 and after some intense song writing, and even more intense gigging in some of Belfast’s best venues, the band haven’t looked back. Their powerful live show is packed with strikingly unique songs in a diversity of styles, fantastic musicianship, and no small amount of passion and energy. The band have just released their thunderous self titled EP and on top of all that, they’re real nice guys. Real nice.
