The deal brings S10’s artist management business further into Avex Music Group, following Avex’s acquisition of its publishing catalogue in 2025.
Avex has increased its ownership of S10 Entertainment to 85%, with an agreement to acquire the remaining stake over time. The deal deepens the Japanese entertainment group’s partnership with S10 founder Brandon Silverstein as it expands its music business internationally.
Silverstein remains CEO of both S10 and Avex Music Group. He will also take a broader role in Avex’s global music strategy, working with its board on opportunities across recorded music, publishing, live entertainment, touring and investments.
The transaction follows Avex’s acquisition of the S10 Music Publishing catalogue in March 2025. Since then, Avex Music Group has announced a global publishing administration partnership with Bruno Mars and a $100 million initiative to acquire publishing rights.
Silverstein said:
S10 began with a belief in exceptional talent and what we could build around it. This next chapter is an opportunity to build on that work at a greater scale with Avex, investing in talent, developing new businesses and creating more opportunities across markets.

The management deal gives Avex a closer connection between its artist roster and its growing rights business. Financial terms were not disclosed.
