FRESH from picking up the Best Irish Band Award at the recent Meteor Irish Music Awards, Aslan will be joining Róisín Murphy and Luka Bloom on stage at London’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

They will be taking to the main stage in Trafalgar Square, alongside an eclectic line up that also includes acclaimed singer songwriter Ann Scott, dance troupe the Celtic Masters and singing group The 12 Irish Tenors.
The St. Patrick’s Day festival, organised by the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and sponsored by Tourism Ireland, is expected to attract huge crowds.
Ken Livingstone said: “The St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival are now permanent fixtures for London.
“They are a great opportunity for all Londoners to let their hair down and enjoy all things Irish”.
Before they head to London, Irish fans will be able to see the band at Dublin’s
Olympia Theatre on Saturday 15 March.
