Sheffield’s most recent successful contribution to the British music industry took to the stage at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena and every ounce of energy the fourpiece manage to capture on record was reproduced on stage and their sound was clear, crisp and cutting as you could wish for.
Alex Turner & Co showed to the Belfast fans to be an excellent band, guided by sure-footed artistic vision. And nowhere is this more apparent than in their live performances.
Alex Turner doesn’t move around too much on stage but manages to keep you interested whilst making his bouncy indie riffs sound impressively heavy.
