Multiple ARIA Award-winning artist Amy Shark returns with The Biggest Dick, her first new release in nearly two years; a tongue-in-cheek return to guitar-driven indie pop.
On the single, Amy says:
‘The Biggest Dick’ is about celebrating all the little wins you have when you’re feeling low. Things like coffees and blue skies. It’s the ultimate breakup song. A little bit sad, a little bit vulnerable, a little bit uplifting but mainly…a big F U! You big dick.
The release also previews her upcoming project soft pop, written entirely by Amy with no co-writes or guest features. After a month writing alone in her apartment, she travelled to Wales to record with longtime producer Dann Hume in a converted church. Amy says:
I’m so proud of ‘soft pop‘ and so excited to share this world with my fans. We created something that feels incredibly special. The process has been challenging, full of joy and honestly life-changing.

Alongside the new music, 2026 will also see Amy make her feature film debut in BEAST and appear as a judge on Australian Idol.
For live bookings and agency information, Amy Shark is represented by MN2S.
soft pop is out July 31. Pre-order your copy here.
