AMEN DUNES ‘I CAN’T DIG IT’: “CELEBRATING THE GOODNESS OF BEING NO GOOD”

amenNew York-based Amen Dunes – Damon McMahon – shares, ‘I Can’t Dig It’, a surprisingly emotional song taken from his forthcoming LP ‘Love’, out May 12th via Sacred Bones.

Amen Dunes explains: “Black sheep living, celebrating the goodness of being no good. Failing at coping, loving, etc. – lazy beneath the banyan and doing just fine.
We suffocate when dreaming and wash away when we rise, bye bye loving, there’s no use in trying. The songs about loving the sh*t out of all the above. Glory days for the poor son.”

‘I Can’t Dig It’ features Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s Efrim Menuck (lead guitar) and Colin Stetson (sax) alongside Parker Kindred (drums, percussion) and Damon (piano, synths, rhythm guitar, vocals) who wrote the song in China.

Here’s ‘Lonely Richard’, the first track from the forthcoming release, featuring guest vocals fromElias Bender Ronnenfelt of Iceage and Vår…
