Northern Ballet Theatre’s opulent and mischievous production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream brings you ballet that is witty, colourful and hugely entertaining.
This Olivier award nominated production moves from the stylish elegance of the 1940s to a Technicolor dream world where Puck’s magical mayhem weaves a tangled web of love. Music from Mendelssohn and Brahms, played live by the Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra completes this dance adaptation of Shakespeare’s fantastically funny play. Perfect for all you English Lit and Performing Arts students, go see it in
the Grand Opera House where it will be shown between Tuesday 1st and Sat 5th April.
