OSCAR UNVEILS ‘SOMETIMES’ VIDEO: ‘A PERFECT MIX OF KITSCH AND BEAUTY’

oscar sometimes videoNorth London neo-Brit pop wunderkind Oscar – eclectic singer/songwriter Oscar Scheller – unveils the wonderfully kooky Bryan Schlam-directed video, for standout track ‘Sometimes’, lifted from his debut self-produced LP ‘Cut and Paste’ (released May 13th on Wichita). The LP is a solid collection of dynamically engaging indie-pop gems.

Speaking about the video, starring Oscar and a splendid variety of people, Schlam explains: “Shooting sometimes was like taking a road trip. I wanted portraiture of the most obscure groups and clubs I could find to drive the video…And we literally had to drive for around three days to shoot everyone (at times for hours!). We ended up with a perfect mix of kitsch and beauty. Turns out Oscar is an amazing performer, holding his own in every set up, including competitive vapers immersing him in smoke rings, and square dancers improvising choreography.”
