CONSTANT FLUX PRESENTS: THE FISH POLICE UK TOUR + DEBUT ALBUM ‘THE MARZIPAN TRANSFORMATIONS’
Constant Flux presents a tour for The Fish Police, the surreal pop pioneers from South London at the cutting edge of the learning disability music scene.
From 4th – 11th April 2014 the band – Dean Rodney (singer, rapper, songwriter), Matthew Howe (guitar) and Charles Stuart (keys, co-songwriter and background vocals) – will be playing a 7 date ‘integrated’ tour in the UK with some of the best bands from the UK’s DIY scene, including Fair Ohs, Trash Kit, Ultimate Thunder and Daniel Wakeford. Check out their incredible debut album ‘The Marzipan Transformations’ (out 7th April).
The integrated events, where learning disabled and non learning disabled bands and audiences come together, are a unique way to break down the barriers of social isolation faced by many with a learning disability. By creating events for everyone there is no distinction or a singling out of a section of the audience, people can just enjoy the music on it’s own merits…
