RSPACE PRESENT: A MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION THAT EXPLORES AUTISTIC THINKING AND ITS VALUE BY JON ADAMS

R SPACE2RSpace present a multimedia exhibition that explores autistic thinking and its value.

The artist Jon Adams describes Asperger syndrome as both a gift and a disability and he explores that by presenting the results of two recent projects ’Look About’ a twoyear mapping and collecting project in response to the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad and ‘KS’ a project commissioned after being identified by Professor Simon Baron Cohen as a natural systemizer (due to ‘Look About’). R SPACE3This creatively driven, multilayered project weaves together science and art, digital and analogue, and Jon’s autobiographical experiences.

International Artist Jon Adams’ fine art practice draws upon a wide range of materials and processes which include photography, video, sound recording and digital sound and visual manipulation, 3D installations, traditional sculpture and illustration.
