CHEATAHS “GET TIGHT” – “THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT”

CHEAT2London’s Cheatahs share ‘Get Tight’ (out 24th Feb via Wichita Recordings), the rather great single taken from their forthcoming self titled debut album.
The band explains: “”Get Tight is about the weird circus that is the part of London that we live in, that as much as it’s fun and inspiring and a great place to do yourself gentle harm, you see too many creative people who get sucked in to the 7 days a week party life and forget to do the things they’re good at and should be doing.

There’s more than one way to rage against the dying of the light.”CHEACheatahs’ long-awaited and self titled debut album (released 10th Feb 2014) is a blend of ecstatic noise, ambient drone and visceral, resounding alt-rock, combined with lyrics that touch on the complexities of relationships, nature, the city, memory, dislocation and self-identity…
