KINGSHOUTERS UNVEIL SEXY AND ALLURING VIDEO FOR ‘JANE’: “A GIRL WHO LIVES BEHIND HUNDREDS OF MASKS”

KINGSHOUTERS3Bergamo’s Indie/Alternative band Kingshouters unveil their sexy and alluring video for ‘Jane’, the first single taken for their rather good album ‘YOUvsME’, out now.

Check out our Q&A with these young Italian rockers with a mature sound: Roberto De Franceschi: Voice & Guitar, Giorgio Assi: Guitar, Paolo Ceresoli: Bass, Leonardo De Franceschi: Drums.KINGSHOUTERS1aCan you describe your sound in few words?

Solid, dark, introspective

Can you talk a bit about your new track ‘Jane’.

Jane is a girl who lives behind hundreds of masks. She’s the consequence of her own insecurity, which makes her afraid of living her life with clarity and transparency, and so she needs to hide behind her fake characters to feel safe.

What this the idea behind the sultry video?

The idea was to represent with a metaphor the different “masks” of Jane: the girls in the video are nothing but the incarnation of Jane’s insecurity, which is also sultry and sexy.KINGSHOUTERS1KINGSHOUTERS2How did you start and when?

Everything started about 9-10 years ago, when the brothers Bob and Leo (singer and drummer of the band) discovered their love for music, and began to play together until 2011, when the project Kingshouters slowly took its form.

What are your dreams and goals?

Our dream is to share the mood and the feelings of our music with hundreds of people, to create a special connection with them, to make ourselves sure that people listen to us because we are doing something good, something cool, something with a message . This is the dream, but also the goal.

Could you briefly describe the music-making process?

Usually, in our music-making process the first step is the instrumental one: everything starts with a guitar pattern or a drum groove, and we later put the lyrics in.

What inspired you to make music together?

We’ve always looked at music like a chance to make something personal, something emotional, something special in the way it creates connections in our life. The shape of brotherhood in the history of rock has always been a real inspiration to us: the Gallaghers, the Whites, the Followills, the Letos and others are real examples to us.

What has been the hardest part of being in the music industry for you?

To find our little place in its huge and messy universe.

What was the last gig you played, what did you think of it?

We played in a club near Milan. We kicked some ass!

What’s the most successful thing you have done to date?

In spite of our age (we are 20), we proved that we are able to make music in a mature way.

Who has helped you the most get to where you are today?

First of all, our parents: they had shown us how important is to believe in our dreams, and how hard you need to work to reach your goals.

What’s coming next for you?

We are planning our tour dates for the next months: we hope to play as many concerts as possible. Moreover, we are working on new amazing stuff and thinking about a next album.
