Andrew Wyatt (of Miike Snow) unveiled the new ‘And Septimus…’ video directed by Sebastian Mlynarski, where we see Andrew serenading the locals on a dawn-till-dusk exploration of Buenos Aires, singing from a microphone connected to the longest cable known to man….
In New York City Tonight! Friday (10th May), don’t miss Andrew’s live performance of his incredible debut solo album ‘Descender’ at Capitale as part of the Downtown Festival, with a 20-piece chamber orchestra, Sean Lennon and Joan Wasser aka Joan As Police Woman.
The album also includes cameos from Anthony Rossomando of The Libertines, Brad Truax formerly of Interpol and John Herndon of Tortoise. The marrying of these elements spawned a huddled romanticism which permeates the record’s sweeping string arrangements with Wyatt’s vulnerable and haunting vocals.
The album was wrote, orchestrated and produced solely on his own. Watch the making of Descender captured in a documentary directed by Sebastian Mlynarski for the Creator’s Project:
