WEST END STAR REBECCA STORM TO TOUR NORTHERN IRELAND

rs-gct-017The first lady of musical theatre, Rebecca Storm, recently visited Belfast School of Performing Arts where she launched the open auditions for the school’s forthcoming production of Les Miserables and announced her first tour of Northern Ireland.

Rebecca, who next year will mark 30 years in the business, is best known for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables at the Barbican Theatre as well as a long running career as Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers.

Her tour will bring her to Newtownabbey’s Theatre at the Mill on May 4 th, Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on May 10th, the Waterside Theatre in Derry on May 11th, An Granian, Letterkenny on May 19th, Armagh’s Marketplace on May 29th, the Ardhowen Enniskillen on May 30th , the Riverside in Coleraine on May 31st, and concluding at The Burnavon Theatre on June 1st.rs-gct-012Artistic Director of Belfast School of Performing Arts, James Huish was delighted to welcome Rebecca to Belfast where she met some musical stars of the future.
