Firstly the band are set to join the legendary band Sweet Savage on stage at Belfast’s Voodoo venue on March 22nd. The night will also see Worldsend’s friends in rock Ajenda join the talented bill.
At this hugely anticipated event the band will also take over control of the fundraising Linenoplois guitar. The guitar features artwork (based on NI’s rich linen making history) by artist Dee Craig.Worldsend join 11 other acts who have agreed to take the guitar on tour for one month and perform with it. They will also explain the fund-raising nature of the guitar and how giving even a few pounds can make a big difference to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice (NICH). This is a wonderful opportunity to hear some good quality homegrown music and raise vital funds for a worthy cause at the same time.
Band member Eddie told Fame: “Worldsend are delighted to be playing on this bill alongside our long time friends Sweet Savage and Management stable mates Ajenda. This show is extra special to us because Worldsend will be taking over on the Linenopolis Guitar tour that night”. Then on March 29th the band take their live show to the Comrades Rock Club in Ballyclare, for a headline show.
Whilst April 4th offers fans the chance to see them take to the stage at Belfast’s Limelight 2, in support of the legendary Jeff Scott Soto.
The band and the Linenopolis guitar will then travel to Rotheram, England for the prestigious Hard Rock Hell AOR Festival.
HRH AOR is a major coup for the band as Eddie told us. “Playing at HRH AOR is a real highlight in the bands career and coming of the back of our recent UK Tour with Little Angels it caps off a great end to our live work until we have the new album out in the autumn of this year.
Lets not forget sandwiched in between our show with Savage and HRH AOR we are also special Guests at Jeff Scott Soto’s Belfast date on April 4th but To be playing at a festival with the likes of Tesla, Kip Winger, FM, Skid Row on the same bill its a bit of a dream come true for the band.”
