TNA’s idea of combining two pay-per-view events together in one double disc set is a great one. This means we the fans get to see two recent ppv outing by the company for the price of one and we also get a few extras as well.
This set contains two of TNA’s best event of the year to date and having them in one set means that the storylines which they carried along are easy to follow two as you move from one to the other as you view.
SACRIFICE 2011
Sacrifice highlights include TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting defending his title against Rob Van Dam, plus the pro wrestling return of Chyna, as she teams with Kurt Angle to face Jeff and Karen Jarrett. World Tag Team Champions Beer Money – Bobby Roode and James Storm – defend their gold against the team of Matt Hardy and a surprise partner. This event saw some above average matches and a few feuds were put to rest, whilst others were built upon.
SLAMMIVERSARY 2011
This was the event that celebrated 9 years of Total Nonstop Action. Here we saw Mr. Anderson take his war against Sting to a main event match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Immortal’s Bully Ray face AJ Styles in a brutal and violent “Last Man Standing” match to settle their deadly feud. This epic event featured a host of matches that hit an awful lot more than they missed.
The Sacrifice and Slammiversary twin pack is a very worthy addition to any wrestling fans collection, the matches on offer are well worth re-viewing and as a double bill of TNA action they gel nicely.
