Gavin Henson & David Seaman entered the record books this week as they both successfully caught balls launched from over 100m above Wembley National Stadium.The record-breaking moment marked the launch of Cadbury Spots v Stripes’ nationwide game of Catch.
100 GPS-tracked, spotty & stripey balls have been released across the country to give as many people as possible a chance to play.
The ball that gets passed the most – as tracked live at www.spotsvstripes.com/catch – wins the game, 5,000 points for its team and £5,000 for one lucky thrower.
The sheer act of passing the ball will also trigger the donation of games kit to charity in time for Christmas through Cadbury’s partnership with Groundwork.
To supplement the real-life game Cadbury has created a unique Twitter version of #Catch. Singer-songwriter Pixie Lott threw the first #SpottyBall at her fans, whilst Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills rose to the challenge and threw the #StripeyBall out into the Twittersphere.
