There are Christmas singles….and there are Christmas singles. There’s those cloyingly schmaltzy ones, those childishly cheeky ones and those downright delightful ones.
Delightful, quirky and lilting with a pop/countryish flavour that drives along, “Christmas Kiss” is everything you’d want from a great Christmas single.

Of course Mim Grey’s no stranger to a good song. She has worked with luminaries across the globe including Sir Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Michael Ball and Dave Stewart.

She’s co-written a Kylie Minogue track and had a Top 10 single with Mantronix plus a club hit with Lee Cabrera. Her version of “What A Difference A Day Makes” spearheaded the Thomas Cook Christmas advertising campaign.

Her new album, “Grey Matters”, a 12 track CD that evokes echoes of Joni Mitchell and James Taylor, shows just what a talent she really is.

Along with her song-writing partner Cori Josias she conjures up a life of high heels, blue jeans and love lost and found…very much her own story.

At times too familiar with the drink/drugs lifestyle of the rock ‘n’ roll world, and having lost her partner to cancer, Mim turned her life around and utilised her experiences to produce this stunning heart-on-her-sleeve album.
