Having just published his autobiography Hooleygan, Terri is launching a new single on his historic label, Good Vibrations from local rocker John D’Arcy. The Godfather of Punk in Northern Ireland, Terri Hooley, always has his eye on up and coming musicians.

Since signing The Undertones to his landmark Good Vibrations record label and releasing their first single Teenage Kicks, Terri has gained legendary status for spotting emerging talent. The single has been produced by Rocky O’Reilly (Oppenheimer) it features heavy guitars, booming drums, pulsating bass and brash in-your-face lyrics.

On the single D’Arcy is supported by his band the Great Bunch of Lads Chris Bateman and Thomas Camblin.

To date John D’Arcy has been known as a quirky singer-songwriter but his new single has the power-pop, punk energy synonymous with the Good Vibrations label.Hooley firmly believes D’Arcy is set to follow in the footsteps of Northern Ireland hitmakers, Snow Patrol, Van Morrison, Ash and, of course, The Undertones.

Limited edition copies of the Get over Yourself single, signed by Hooley and D’Arcy are available from Good Vibes Records and on digital download from: www.johndarcy.com
