Party For Pakistan At O2 Academy

Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Bill Gates and even Kanye West have all spotted something. Pakistan needs help!
The American celebrities, some of whom noticed a void in information about the South Asian country’s recent floods, have pledged their support for the Flood Victims.

It is time for the UK’s creative industry to stand up, raise awareness and get involved :

PARTY FOR PAKISTAN on Wednesday 29th September @ Islington O2 Academy with Plan B, Kayvan Novak, aka Fone/Facejacker who will be performing his first ever live set, Riz MC, Aggro Santos, Akala, BBC Radio 1’s DJ Nihal and Bobby Friction, Nero, Mumzy Stranger, True Tiger, Mz Bratt and many more to be announced.

Plan B

The floods have killed 1600 people so far with the death toll expected to rise because disease will spread. Some 20 million have been significantly affected. Over 1 million homes have been destroyed.

"pls give me ur monies for to help for the floods...and while ur at it, bring ur bank account and sort code pls. madame Brian badonde is also looking forward to bem-cee-ing over bub-step for barite" Facejacker

Needless to say, there are around 8 million people in the country who are relying on emergency aid. Add to this the 1.6 million acre area of crop land that has been destroyed, land which millions rely on for income, the outlook is, to say the least, very bleak.

With this in mind, we ask you to support our initiative. We aim to make a difference in the lives of just a fraction of people affected and we would like your help.

The world has been slow to respond to the crisis and the media has been focusing on reasons why.It is time to forget the debate and focus on the facts.

"The scale of suffering in Pakistan is unfathomable. An area the size of Italy is flooded and a population equal to Australia is now homeless. The party for Pakistan aims to raise money and awareness by enlisting some of the best names in UK Music for an unforgettable event" Riz MC

We are planning an entertainment event in central London’s o2 Islington Academy for around 1,000 people on September 29.

All ticket profits will be going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee.

All artists will be performing for free. All organisers, including Curious Generation, are working voluntarily. Tickets are £10 in advance and £12.50 on the door.
