About Think Act Vote
Politics isn’t just something that happens in the houses of parliament and voting doesn’t just happen every four years.

Every day we make choices that shape our world. Think Act Vote is a campaign to inspire us to think positively about our future and the votes we cast, today, tomorrow and forever. The idea behind Think Act Vote is to use creative energy to challenge the negative perception about politics held by so many people today.

It’s a ‘Rock the Vote’ for personal agency, politics with a small ‘p’ if you like, focusing on the future we choose (and can create) through the daily decisions we make.

The campaign kicked-off in February with a competition to design the perfect campaign t-shirt. Judged by a panel of some of ethical fashion’s best-known faces, including Katharine Hamnett and Cyndi Rhoades, as well as “queen of cool” Daisy de Villeneuve, the winning design has been printed onto Earth Positive t-shirts.

Leading eco designers, including Junky Styling, Ada Zanditon, Beautiful Soul and Ciel were challenged to remake the t-shirt, using only left over fabric from their current collection. The results have been featured in fashion press including Marie Claire, Green My Style, Treehugger and Ecouterre.

Think Act Vote has now taken to the streets with a giant ballot box and is asking people to answer the simple question “what’s the future you choose?”. Ballot box HQ is in Carnaby Street but the team will be asking people to cast their vote for the future in places like the Westfield Shopping Centre and the Royal Festival Hall. In addition you can answer online or through our poetry competition.

These answers will feature in a beautiful lifestyle book; based on people’s vision of the future. This “Prime Minister’s handbook” will be hand-delivered to No.10 and all party leaders in June. It will also include portrait photography of people wearing the Think Act Vote t-shirts and dresses.
