True Gold at the Odyssey from Spandau Ballet – picture special

Spandau BalletBritish band Spandau Ballet wooed fans at the Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on the second gig of their comeback tour by playing their old-but-gold favourites. The legendary New Romantics also performed material from their new album ‘Once More’.

The band, who sold 25 million records including six multi-platinum albums and 23 hit singles, were glad to be back together.

Tony Hadley told the Belfast fans which was 70 per cent female: “It took a bit of time but we’ve come back. We’ve missed you I tell you,”

The Eighties group, which also has brothers Gary and Martin Kemp, and Steve Norman and John Keeble as its members, will now tour the rest of UK before heading to Europe.
